Admission Process for MBA 2022 Batch onwards

Eligibility for MBA

Admission to the MBA course is done as per the directives of the Admission Supervisory Committee (ASC) and M.G. University Norms.

Candidates must secure a minimum 15% score in the KMAT – Kerala / CMAT / CAT entrance test.
A pass certificate in any Bachelor’s Degree Examination from Mahatma Gandhi University or an equivalent degree from any other University duly recognized by M.G. University, with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate to be produced to the college.

Selection Process

The Selection process for MBA admission follows a purely objective and merit-based criterion as per the ASC directives.

80weightages are given for the Entrance Test.
10 weightages each are given for the Group discussion and Interview.
In addition to the above, due consideration will be given to the academic performance in schools and colleges.
Candidates will be shortlisted for admission based on the overall performance of the above parameters.

1. Full Tuition Waiver Scholarship

This prestigious scholarship is awarded to students who have demonstrated exceptional academic prowess. Eligibility criteria include:

University Rank Holders: If you have secured the top ranks at the university level, you are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
College Topper (Autonomous Institutions): If you have topped in an autonomous college, you may be eligible for this scholarship. Application for this is restricted by merit and the number of seats available.

2. MIM Meritorious Scholarship

This scholarship aims to support students with remarkable academic and professional achievements that are divided into three categories:

Academic Merit:
- Eligibility is based on past academic performance, including ranks and grades in +2 and degree courses.
- Applicants must have demonstrated outstanding performance in group discussions and interviews.
Candidates with work experience:
- Designed for professionals with more than two years of work experience in a reputed organisation and a good academic track record.
Entrepreneurship:
- This scholarship is tailored to aspiring entrepreneurs. From the first semester on, eligible students can apply based on a viable business plan and idea approval.
- A critical requirement for maintaining this scholarship is the successful registration of the startup by the end of the third semester.
- Upon meeting this requirement, students are eligible for a refund of the fee paid, based on the implementation stage or level.
